The Hawthorn Hotel

Swinburne University needed an area on the previously undeveloped first floor of the Hawthorn hotel that would serve as a University meeting and function space during business hours, and a bar on the weekends. The fit out works took place with the hotel operating below without disruption. The outdoor deck and alfresco area required substantial waterproofing to protect the kitchen below.
